Very surface level, nothing insightful.

The information seemed superficial and resulted into the 'think happy thoughts, eat well and exercise' archaic philosophy in dealing with metal health issues. As someone who has suffered with various mental health issues this is very condescending, its close to advising someone to 'cheer up as its all in your head'. When somebody is having a mental health episode finding a will or motivation to do any of these things can seem impossible and the despair this can generate only compounds negative thoughts and emotions. We know what we should do, but the ability to will that knowing into doing is the real hurdle to tackle and this package did nothing to address this.

Well presented and easy to follow.

I have learnt a lot through this course. Although I had knowledge around mental health, it’s the strategies used that can help myself, or staff and colleagues when feelings of stress is apparent. The additional resources were a help also. Along with contact for outside agencies if anyone requires them.

Very helpful, great course

Informative

It was a broad summary of everything that is covered under the umbrella of mental health – I enjoyed it!

good

There were too many separate videos. I didn't like the way I had to keep clicking play.

Better mental health awareness

A good understanding of mental health issues in the work place

Good information that is well presented.

I've already got a good level of mental health awareness and yet I still found this course interesting and well put together. The combination of the presentation slides and additional information works well. I'm not sure the "test" adds much value but trust iHasco evaluate that and set the standard accordingly.
