Very basic
If you had no understanding of these topics this might have been a good introduction, but it was quite basic and patronising for staff who have been working with these issues for some time. The quiz was terrible. Anyone could have guessed the answers because of how they were phrased.
Too Many Videos
Videos were helpful for giving info but would have preferred if it was more interractive the whole way through e.g things to click on, multiple questions throughout rather than the odd one at the start,
Very informative
Great course to understand the different Neurodiversity conditions and how to help individuals to be inclusive in the work place.
Useful resource that would benefit anyone completing the training.
This is excellent training. Clear explanation of what neurodiversity is, and particularly from slide 20, there was detailed and clear information on how neurodivergent people can struggle if their needs are not met which I think anyone undertaking this training would find really useful. It offers general advice on supporting people with neurodivergence and is a really positive piece of training – its enabling people with neurodiversity, not disabling them.
Complete waste of time
Useless in reality, should've had option to speed watch videos without manually adjusting speed setting in each video. Show a full transcript so I can skim read then skip if I want to rather than force me to play video one by one, it's a waste of time.
I have learnt a few things but vey long!
It was good to understand a bit more about neurodiversity as we live in a world where we need to consider everyone's needs and abilities and this covered a lot of ground. However, it is hard to find a spare 50minutes throughout the day (especially on reception) so maybe it could have been a bit shorter.
Quite basic
There was nothing wrong with this course, but it was very basic. I would rename it "an introduction to.." or "Basic Neurodiversity Awareness" as being more appropriate.
extremely useful, learnt a lot of the wider understanding and how we can support our Neurodivergent community.
A useful course, allows to understand a complexed subject and provides useful knowledge to support our neurodivergent community in the workplace.
Thought provoking
Very interesting session a lot of new terminology
Very informative but not overloading
Neurodiversity is such a complex subject and includes so many stereotypes. This course broke these down without generalising but in simple snippets of information. As some who has been diagnosed and often experiences the stigma, this was a refreshing perspective.
