Interesting useful training opportunity.

There's a lot here that is relevant to our work. Design in public transport needs to take account of neurodiversity. Trains with restricted views through the window, stations and interchanges with bad signing, and information that's hard to find or to follow, can often deter users because of a failure to encompass neurodiverse issues alongside the physical factors. The course didn't specifically mention literacy or spatial awareness: many public transport users struggle to understand the information they are given, and we as information providers have to be aware of the diversity of our customers' and their customers' needs. The position has worsened since Covid: the drive for economies and more electronic gadgetry in the transport industry has to take account of the closing down of onsite supervision at interchanges, and the removal of much traditional printed information, for the diversity of travellers.

Excellent introduction to Neurodiversity

Very well structured and thought-out course. Diagnosis section could be more specific on guided routes as this is something that is particularly poor for adults in the UK.

Clear delivery designed to embed the lea

The narrator explained it at an understandable pace and with clarity. The kernel of his message was featured in word boxes after each topic. The volume of the recording was pitched nicely.. Excellent!.

Really useful overview

I thought that this course was very good. It covered the subject of neurodiversity broadly and gave good practical advice on how to support colleagues who are neurodiverse.

Interesting and informative

Absolutely enjoyed this training. It made me think about my working and social environment and those I interact with. I purpose to be more aware of how I engage with others and change my 'expectations', to how can I help the other develop, using their strengths. Absolutely brilliant training. I enjoyed how they used trees as a prime example of all being trees but being different types of trees.
