Informative, mindful and understanding

This course has made me become aware that actions have consequences which any workplace you work at and can be put into practice for whatever you're doing in life. It's an essential life skill when you're working with people professionally.

A useful reminder of where the boundaries are.

I like to think I already display the positive characteristics needed to avoid making colleagues feel uncomfortable. This course serves as a useful reminder of where the boundaries are.

Basic and clear

The course takes the subject matter right back to a basic level. It uses simple and clear language and is very clear on the premise of what is and is not covered under the definition of sexual harassment. One improvement would be a little more info for those in small companies whose harasser is their immediate boss, it needs a bit more than all managers should treat complaints fairly even those about themselves. Managers are also human and it is foreseeable that this is not practiced in all cases – especially where the harassment is deliberate .

Explored the topic in great simplicity and depth

Easy to understand

As an older person many of the issues raised were previously just accepted as normal work banter, but the course made it easy to understand how this is not normal and does not have to be accepted.

Eye opener

Highlights the importance in promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace and emphazises an understanding of preventing such behaviours.

So long and thanks for all the fish

I struggle to see the necessity to explain such a thing. I fail to see a reason for doing so to people who deal with the public all the time and are well up to understanding what harrassment is. Waste of time and money that could be otherwise used to improve the professional stewards day.

The course is good

The course is very informative and helps you to know what is and isn't acceptable.
