Good introduction to bias.

I do think that the "gender bias" bits should be updated as I don't think it's very inclusive to talk about two genders as people who identify as non-binary might find this upsetting and also uses stereotypes in the depiction of the "woman" with a skirt.

Good for encouraging self-awareness

Encourages self-awareness and questioning, which are positive; later on, when it comes to recruitment best-practice, I fear this training may encourage decisions which cement rather than work to eradicate institutional bias and conformity – particularly where it refers to not considering background. Candidate X may have a better degree and more impressive experience than candidate Y, but the training implies it would not be legitimate to consider other factors such as whether Y was a care leaver, or X was privately educated, for example.

Easy to follow and understand.

Well presented and insightful

Clear, Concise and well presented. Good visuals and thought provoking material. Actually very enjoyable experience.

Very clear and well structured course.

The structure of this course in short, clear sections educated me in the causes of, and the problems that can be caused by, unconscious bias. Good examples were used and some of these brought to mind cases where my own unconscious bias might influence a decision. A methodology (ACT) was provided that will help Planview employees as we drive forward our D&I programme. A call to action and a well structured test at the end reinforced the message and next steps.

Completely unnecessary for mature adults

I agree with the content just not the requirement to train on the subject.

It was comprehensive and fair

The course brought to light many things I was unaware of and many I am aware of, but don't take the time to think about often. The course was just the right amount of time and content to really drive home the key factors in sub-conscious bias.

very good
