Good concise and helpful
It was very concise and offered options to deal with anxiety. The options were very helpful and practical.
Wrong focus
As someone who experiences chronic anxiety, this course felt very 'gaslighty'. It seems to be predicated on the assumption that anxiety, for the most part, is more in people's heads than it is in reality. None of the coping mechanisms considered the possibility of changing the behaviours of people around you, or your environment. It focused solely on more internal methods designed to dismiss the feeling. It also operated on the assumption of certain privileges that we don't all have. For example, I cannot let 'anxious thoughts drift across my brain like clouds in the sky'. The nature of my anxiety is that it is obsessive and cyclical in nature. Even if I resolve a thought, something else will pop up in its place. Not all of us have the freedom to go to a nicer environment, especially during lockdown, during which many vulnerable people, myself included, spent a significant amount of time effectively under house arrest. I found it interesting
The training was clear and informative, and I enjoyed it
Very useful and informative.
This gives the very useful tools and concepts in an informative and easily understood way. I recognise many of these from my own experiences and am glad that this information is now more readily available than it was for individuals suffering from mental health, anxiety problems.
Excellent Course
This course has made me think really positive as I face everyday challenges
simple and effective
This course has made me mindful of my thoughts and anxieties at a good time, I will be using some of the tools and have downloaded the documents, links and forms. I can see the 'Activating event + Belief = Consequence' form being very useful for my particular type of anxious thoughts. Thank you.
Good ideas
Many good ideas to distract and control situations. Even if only mild anxiety, breathing and ways to move beyond your belief of a situation's outcome.
Slightly too long
Covered all areas
