Several points from the training I would like raise: 1. I think it is only relevant to people with everyday stresses and not actual mental illness such as severe depression. 2. Exercise, healthy eating etc. are not enough, if someone is dealing with physical illness or disability exercise needs to be tailored to individual and in some cases can make it worse. Exercise can also trigger a panic attack for anxiety sufferers. 3. Talking is not enough – doesn't necessarily help the problem and can make it worse i.e. if there is no one you trust or the issue is deeply personal or traumatic, can trigger an episode. 4. If someone is dealing with a lot of negative thoughts, replacing with a positive is not going to help. You need to get to the root of the thought and positive thoughts only help at a conscious level and not subconscious ie accept the negative thought. 5. Asking for helps is good but many people do and are stuck on a very long waiting list as the NHS is overstretched, even then it may not work. 6. Talking may help some people but others are not so good at expressing themselves and are loners. Also taking action and control of your own life is more effective than talking. 7. No one is happy and healthy all the time and can be 100% productive at work. Self awareness helps understand the job may not be a good fit after all.

No circumlocution and an easy read. Factual, Informative with additional links for added reading. The only criticism is not being able to move forward as I was using the transcript. Lots of useful information. Thank you.

Confirmation of what I knew
This course didn't teach me anything new, but it did make me think about doing something about my mental health. I will attempt to focus more using the ideas given in the course.
