A little patronising
I found it useful if you were someone who had never had a mental health issue, which is sadly very few people nowadays. However it was a little patronising and I was not particularly impressed that the mental health illnesses were represented by "aliens and monsters". If you have a mental health issue, you already feel alienated enough from society so it probably wasn't the best metaphor for them..I did find the breathing exercise (belly breathing) very useful as I have not heard of this before and the links to the extra web pages is a good touch.
Excellent Communication for officers
This has made me more aware of my inner self and also to be aware of others that may require help It totally helps you understand the issues in life we may face and how to hopefully over come them Can’t wait for the next course intrigued so I am

it was terribly long
Far too long winded . I think what you are really trying to do is reach those who need help , but are just wasting the time of others . Get it cut down to 15 mins MAX .
Quite insightful and easy to comprehend
I found the module to be quite insightful and easy to comprehend. The videos are quick and quite thorough. Sometimes these sorts of online training e-learning courses can be boring and uninspired. However, this was not at all the case here and I look forward to the next round. Very pleased so far from this course
Good course
Helpful information on how to recognise mental health issues and signals to look for
concise, useful and positive
Definitely made me think more pro-actively about mental health. Although we are all aware of mental health issues, this course really helped emphasise the benefits of maintaining GOOD mental health, as well as addressing issues of mental health. Very useful and I will be completing my own WAP as soon as possible.
