An excellent presentation
A clear and concise presentation, demonstrated by videos with a wonderful presenter. Questions throughout and at the end, help to reinforce the information for retention.
Course was OK but it relies but a more diverse presenter would be useful
Particularly with a bias course using a stereo type training presenter is contrary to the content..
Completely pointless
I just spent what felt like 2 hours on a common sense course of the basics of human inclinations and what I think most people learn by their 9th birthday. I'm sure anyone who hasn't figured out how to be aware of biases and the negative effects of stereotypes by adulthood will not benefit by this course, they are beyond help and will always pick the easy option of judging based observed patterns. Hope this helps.
Great course
The course is educative.
Mostly obvious – largely a waste of time
We have a productivity problem in this country, and spending time on a course like this contributes to it. Most people taking this course could spend their time more productively. Someone needs to ask what is the difference between "bias" (bad) and "preference" (not necessarily bad). I'm sure that someone could write a helpful PhD thesis comparing and contrasting unconscious bias with market forces. I'm not sure whether the author(s) of this course see that. Maybe that indicates unconscious bias on my part, or maybe on theirs.
