Why is training important?

Relevant legislation

It’s important that you comply with the law and understand the positive impact training can have on your organisation.

Whatever your organisation does, all workplaces have a duty to comply with health and safety legislation in the UK – The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 are the two main legal documents that outline what businesses must do in order to keep their employees safe.

As well as these broad pieces of legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 outline employers’ duties to provide Fire Safety and DSE training. Many office-based organisations are also obliged to comply with legislation such as The Data Protection Act 1998, The Equality Act 2010 and The Environment Act 1995.

iHasco ticked every box for us when we were looking for providers! Your customer service has been superb from the start!
